Careers FAQ
Your questions answered
Yes. You can apply for multiple jobs and reapply for a role that you’ve already applied for in the past. Our Applicant Tracking System keeps track of all your applications and our recruiting team will work together to see if there’s a good fit for you.
What if I know a current employee? How do I ensure that they are connected to my application as my referrer?
ExpandAsk the employee directly to submit your resume for you, or when you apply, be sure to mark “Employee Referral” under the question, “How did you hear about this job?”
Most of our open positions do not require a degree, as we believe in focusing on experience over formal credentials. This creates a broader talent pool and a better alignment of skills to what is needed for success in our positions.
Reach out to your recruiter and they will be happy to help with any accommodations needed to make your interview experience as comfortable as possible for you.
Your resume can say a lot about you! Be sure to tailor your resume to the job you are applying for, as well as double check grammar and spelling. We recommend including projects and skills that identify you as a qualified candidate. We also recommend you keep your resume to 1-2 pages max, and eliminate a lot of detail about past positions that were not relevant to the role you’re applying for.
Nope! We don’t require cover letters and your application will be given the same consideration whether or not you submit a cover letter. That being said, if you do choose to submit a cover letter, please tailor it to your application and double check it for spelling and grammar errors. Any material you submit as part of your application will be viewed as a representation of you and your capabilities.
If we see a mutual fit, one of our recruiters will be in touch for an initial phone screen where they will dive into your background and experience to make sure you meet all the requirements for the role. There is no need to follow up with the recruiting team, as all applications are thoughtfully reviewed by a human being at Signifyd!
At this time, Signifyd is not able to sponsor candidates in the United States, Mexico or Brazil.
In the United Kingdom, we are able to sponsor specific positions indicated by the government to candidates who already reside in the United Kingdom. Your recruiter will go over this with you in their initial call if you are otherwise qualified for the position.
Check out our Interviewing with Signifyd Guide to understand more about our interview process. Your recruiter will also go over the specific interview process for your role in your initial screening call, and we will provide more details as you progress through the process.

In Brazil, we currently partner with a PEO (professional employer organization) that handles our payroll and benefits for employees. This is a very common arrangement for growing companies that want to hire outside of the areas they are legally established in. Our Brazil employees participate in the 4-day workweek and receive excellent benefits through the PEO!
Yes! Most of our opportunities are remote or hybrid. As a fully hybrid company, you are able to work from any of our global offices as needed. Talk to your recruiter to learn more about any limitations on where you can and cannot work from. Currently, we are only able to promise the ability to work within the country you are hired in.
Yes! Most of our employees work Monday through Thursday. In some cases, depending on team and coverage needs, employees will have to work occasional Fridays or switch their day off to another day to ensure we keep the business running smoothly. Ultimately, our approach is to be flexible and to balance the needs of the business and our customers with our desire to allow our employees proper time to recharge.
At Signifyd, we aim to balance execution and outcomes with humanity. We care about our people as much as we care about our business outcomes. We focus on the following defining principles to carry out that vision:
- Ownership and Trust: We only hire and retain people that will consistently think like owners, regardless of their role, and then we trust them to do so
- Wellness: We prioritize our team’s health and wellbeing. Healthy, happy employees do the best work!
- Focus: We focus on quality results and not rote activities
- Standards: We communicate and follow through on high but fair standards for execution
- Feedback: We give feedback frequently, consistently, compassionately and candidly
- Perspective: We enable our employees to do the best work of their lives, but we also treat Signifyd as one moment in a thriving career
Signifyd’s culture is one of ownership, curiosity and inclusion. Our employees are encouraged to take risks and drive improvements in our business, regardless of their role and level, and to ask questions to fully understand the impact of the decisions they are making, both within their function and across the company. And we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone has an opportunity to progress, succeed, and make an impact, regardless of their background or individual characteristics.
With hubs in San Jose, Denver, New York, Seattle, London, Belfast, Mexico City, and São Paulo, we strive to create a sense of unity between our teams. The easiest way for our employees to build relationships across geographies are to unite over common interests, and we try to foster that as much as possible! Amongst our most popular Slack channels are “Pets of Signifyd”, “Babies of Signifyd” and “Chefs of Signifyd” where Signifyers share pictures and discussions about — you guessed it — their family pets, children and favorite dishes. We also hold virtual and in‑person events such as book clubs, cross‑functional coffee meetings and virtual game time. And whenever possible, we encourage teams to get together in person to foster greater connection and collaboration.
At Signifyd, we look for individuals who embody our company values. Those are:
- Curious and Hungry - Stay a lifelong learner with a bias for action. It’s always Day 1.
- Tenacious - Be a pioneer and never give up. Creating something new is hard work.
- Customer Compassion - Empathize with your customers and solve their problems. We exist to help them succeed.
- Design for Scale - Build solutions to scale and last. We are here to stay.
- Agile - Be aware, be nimble and adapt quickly. Everything changes.
- Roll up your Sleeves - Be helpful, be humble, learn from everyone and have fun. No one succeeds alone.
Most Signifyd employees are hybrid or remote, so as a company, we have learned a lot of how to include and support a globally distributed workforce. Read this blog post by our Chief People Officer on how we built a long-term remote work culture.

Here at Signifyd, we think it’s incredibly important that people from all backgrounds feel a sense of inclusion and belonging. We believe that the best way to attract more diverse talent is to look inward, and ensure that all of our employees feel like they belong, as well as drive greater awareness and education across all of our people. In our recruiting process, we ensure that our interview panels have a diverse group of interviewers involved. Our leaders hold each other accountable for learning and modeling the best behaviors, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed.
We also have Employee Resource Groups, which include the Women@Signifyd, our Black & Latinx Signifyers and Pride@Signifyd. These groups are all open to everyone, allies included, and hold regular sessions and activities for our employees, providing a great support network, helping them grow and having some fun along the way!
